hi i have a oil smell in car it comes and goes smells like gearbox oil bit of a pain really has anyone got any thought on what to look for or to check?
Check underneath the car to see where the oil is leaking from. It sounds like it's dribbling down from somewhere onto the hot exhaust, hence the smell inside the car.
