02 1.9tdi dump valve - oneton
hi i have a vw passat 1.9 tdi (130) bhp estate its a realy nice car and i would like it to sound a bit sporty can anyone tell me were i put the dumpvalve approximatly on the engine plz thank you for your help.

No offence but the words "estate", "sporty" and "dump valve" do not go together.

All it makes a fffttsspppsss noise which will probably turn people's heads, stare at you and think to themselves "who's the chav in the Passat Estate?" or something less polite.

Besides that, a dump valve on a diesel will give you no performance gain whatsoever.

Diesel = no throttle + variable vane turbo = nothing to dump.
You may as well fit a micro-switch, synthesiser and small speaker.

A couple of days ago a lowered Passat Estate with fat wheels and a rat custom paint job came past my house. Dump valve was audibly working. Weird.
