I recently changed my cam belt as the last one unfortunately snapped. However, since doing this, the engine has a louder 'ticking' noise. Timing marks looked dead on. Anyone know if it can be 'fine tuned' to within one tooth on the belt safely? Pretty sure that valves\pistons are correct but should I re-do them or the belt? Any help greatly appreciated.

did you check if any of the valves are bent. if not you have been very lucky
