06 1.4 Air Con Use means FAN ON Continuously - cavalrystu
Hi,
I'm hoping another Jazz owner can confirm this is normal.

When we put the Aircon on the, the engine fan comes on. Not just the Aircon fan, but both fans which makes it quite noisy.

Is this normal? I have no idea.... but would love to know.

Yep, ours does. I think most cars do this.

Most Jap cars are a bit behind the times when it comes to cooling fans;they are either on or off ,so they do tend to be a little noisy when car is stationary.Most other car makers use variable speed cooling fan/s so they only run as demand requires to reduce load on engine and electrics.hth
