01 2.2 alarm - Bryanc
My daughters astra sri alarm goes off intermittantly for no apparent reason.
Where should we start to look ? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Only when it's set, or anytime?

The usual culprit is failing back up batteries in the power sounder.

Click on the following link, then scroll down and click on " 'How To'..... Replace the Power Sounder"

Another likely culprit is an out of line bonnet pin switch, or a loose connection with the plug/socket connector for the power sounder.

Batteries for the sounders are getting hard to source now. Also, if the batteries have leaked, it wrecks the circuit board.
