00 1.4 timing chain - fearny
my sister has a skoda fabia . cant see no timing belt so i think it has a chain . any one know at what milage the chain needs to be changed .. THANK YOU.

The whole point of chains is that there is no maintenance. They should last as long as the engine, and always used to, but they became noisey on certain cars with no auto adjusters.
So unless they make a noise, you leave them alone, that is what I understand on my Mondeo.
