99 2.0HDi Will not start ?? - autumnboy
A friend of mine has a 306 Hdi 2.0ltr

Who Broke down on his way home from work. He called the RAC and they told him it could be a faulty relay or a split wire. He also tells me that he took off an Injector pipe and there's pressure there, no problem with the pump, etc.

So where or what could this relay the RAC say could be faulty. Or could it be the TDC sensor or anything else etc.

Any clues what to check for.

Thanks

I have a similar problem with my HDI the relay is behind the battery.
Its a right pain to get to I have moved mine to the side of the battery and left it loose.
When it doesnt work I just give it a tap, this does the trick but I wouldnt recomend it as a permanent fix as im sure there is the possibility of an electrical fire.

I am looking for a proper fix to this problem, as usual the dealers havnt got a clue and blame the lift pump in the tank which works fine!
