1989 2.5 fuel related loss of power & over running - lez tech
hi everyone, i have just had an expensive recovery of my 110 station wagon, with what appears to be fuel delivery problem, the engine ticks over fine, and was driving ok, apart from a slight overrun on revs when i lifted off the gass, then when put under load ie, joining the a1, the power seemed to diminish, then appear again, then ground to a halt, but crucially, started again, and ticked over fine, with the odd fluctuation in engine revs , however would not perform under load. turbo or fuel????? please help!!!!!!

Have you tried changing the fuel filter?

thats my fist course of action, thanks, if i can find one on a bank holiday monday, i feel a halfords lottery coming on!!!.... need it running for tomorrow.

1989 sorry!!! anyway sorted the problem, a loose union on the side of the filter seemed to have let air in, replaced filter and olive, running fine.
