99 1.8 timing belt problem - fearny
car started ok pulled of a clunk came from the engin then nothing a friend told me sounds like timing belt . it looks ok , he said teath could be worn , when turning engin belt is jumpin a bit. is it worth chaing belt , or will the engin be to damaged .. Thank you

you need to check that the timming has jumped, if it has then there is a very big chance that you may have bent some valves, as lud says "oh dear"
