If your car has typical 1990s Peugeot door-restraints, the check-strap roll-pin by the hinge may be worn, and the spring which holds it inside the door may be slack. Try a shot of spray grease on both of them. If they look rusty brown (they probably will) replacing the pin may help. Driver's door will be worst, obviously.
