Daughter's boyfriend's car has this light showing intermittently. I understand it's possible to short a couple of pins on the diagnostic socket to give an indication of where the fault is.
1. Where do I find the socket on a Corsa?
2. Would it give an indication of where the fault is?
Any help would be much appreciated please.

The diag socket is located in a recess below the heater control panel.I would strongly advise against shorting out any pins in the socket.Get a proper diagnostic check done.hth

The 'paperclip' trick won't work for flashing up airbag related faults. You'll need to have it plugged into a proper code diagnostic reader. Same applies for getting the light extinguished as well. Fixing the fault isn't enough to put the light out.
