will side steps fit ??????? - Ade in Telford
Hi all I have a 2005 54reg sorrie 2.5 CRDI Auto and would like to ask anyone in the know if side steps made for a 2006+ sorrie would have the same chassis fitting as my sorrie, I have found a really nice set on ebay but aren't sure theyll go on mine, thanks for any help ADE :-)

When did the 'facelift' come in? I presume that was 2006+ and that is the model you have.
I am certain the chassis is the same with just minor bodywork mods. But then I couldn't be 100%
I have a 2005 XS model that came with the steps fitted. Look reasonable, but not very practical other than for catching car doors. They just bolt round the chassis.

Well a man in the know on the UK Sorento Forum says 'NO they are not interchangeable' :-((
