02 2.4 d5 drivers wheel clicking - fisherman
my car has started making a clicking noise from the drivers wheel once i reach speeds over 40mph,the noise cannot be heard once window is down although i think this is due to wind noise and the clicking noise seems to be traveling through the car body.I have checked all bushes & brakes, everything seems ok. has anyone had similar problem?

Try doing a full lock LH turn - if it's more noticable then it's probably your cv joint. Some cars you can replace the joint; others require a whole new driveshaft. Good luck

thanks owen,I should have said but it deft not driveshaft r cv joint,both checked& ok. Makes no diff if I turn or brake!

Wheel bearing or a nail or stone in your tyre. Regards Peter
