Renault specialist - Javalin
Hiya

Anybody recommend a decent specialist for Renault in the Portsmouth, Hampshire area. Car needs major service & cam belt

A good local indie should be able to do this for you, I dont think it would require a specalist Renault Dealer

You could try Waterlooville Motors, 41 Aston Road Waterlooville. They are, I believe, renault specialists but I've never used them. I have a Megane and live at Liss, I use Station Garage at Liphook regularly (v. close to the station), they've worked on my megane including changing the cambelt.

I agree that it doesn't need to be a Renault specialist.

I really wanted to entrust the Scenic's forthcoming 72k (cambelt) service to our very helpful local Renault dealer, but having just been quoted £850 for the work, it's simply not going to happen. It will be done at an indie.

Renault specialist - 1400ted
My 2001 Scenic didn't have a belt, it had a chain ( joy)
I know it used the same engine as the smaller Megane...both 1600 cc.
