1998 1.4 214 si fuel starvation - politepixie
my trusty 214 stopped suddenly and has refused to start for 3 days now. Ive changed the rotor arm and after fiddling ,convinced myself that the flow of petrol has stopped...........is computer diagnosis the next step ????????

Have you tried the inertia switch? The car may have been bumped inadvertantly and you would not know. The switch concerned is mounted behind the centre console andjacent to where your left leg would rest.
It's a get down on your hands and knees job but you do not have to strip anything down to gain access. Your owner's handbook will give you more details.

its a bit of a pig to find if you dont realy know what it looks like, it is bolted to the steel support bar from the dash down to the floor, that is assuming that it has one fitted, not all did/do
