hi could anyone tell me if a laguna engine 2.0 16v will fit a espace 2.0 16v engine code f4r and does it have to be the same reg and year ?

I think the reg and year for the cars in question would be helpful for an answer here. The engines may fit physically in the bay but wiring, mountings, ECU, cooling pipes basically everyting to plumb it in may not match up
