Further Confirmatio Credit Crunch Crippling Values - drbe
Pursuant to the HJ News item on the right - "Further Confirmation Credit Crunch Crippling Car Values".

I am seriously considering exchanging my 7 year old E320CDI for a more recent model; the question is should I wait a few more months? When will prices be at the bottom?

If you wait, more likely the new car's value will fall further compared to fall in your p/x and overall you should be better off.

Price changes like waves, but it is gamble to decide where is crest and trough.

I would wait as the depreciation on a newer current E class will be greater when the new model appears next year than it will be on an 8 or 9 year old model.
