1999 1.8 Engine oil leaks - jp147
I own a 1999 Ford Focus 1.8 (petrol) which has the Zetec E type engine.

How do Ford engines compare with those of other manufacturers in terms of the likelyhood of engine oil leaks and whereabouts do the oil leaks originate on zetec engines ?

sump, crank seals,(particularly clutch end) cam cover , any where that has oil involved basically

But my 2000 model 1.8 does not leak or burn a drop between 6 monthly oil changes.
