Ford Focus (1998 - 2004) - 00 1.8tdi Major oil leak - Oil delivery pipe ?

00 1.8tdi Major oil leak - Oil delivery pipe ? - dieseldriver
I have a 2000 X plate focus 1.8 tdi with a major oil leak. The garage said it was coming from the oil delivery pipe at the back of the engine but refused to repair it as would take to long (Nationwide Autocentre).

I know the part costs about £50. Does anyone have any thoughts on this diagnosis???

The oil is obviously being forced out of somewhere under extreme pressure as is all over the bottom of the engine.

By thesounds of it they mean the turbo oil delivery pipe. four 8mm bolts and a bit fiddly and messy but not too much of a job.
