Intermittant instruments, how do I get to PCB ?? - Vinnie
The 'Watchdog' tv programme suggested that WD40 on the Printed Circuit Board contacts could clear this problem. They didn't say where the PCB is located, is it by the speedo in the instrument cluster?
Can anyone confirm or otherwise please and if possible, tell me how to get to the PCB.

The Instument cluster is a single unit which houses the PCB. Once you remove the cluster (a few screws around the cluster and some trim removal, you can access the PCB from the back of the cluster unit.

Watchdog also suggested that Ford main dealers are doing a fixed fee replacement unit for £99.hth
