Hi when i have my air con on and then stop the cat a pool of water appears under the car about half way down under the car is this normal?.

Used to on my 2002 model also so I assumed it was the condensor.

Every car I've ever owned with aircon has done this. On one occasion SWMBO panicked and thought the radiator had burst and called the RAC. Blamed me for not informing of this characteristic with aircon. Just added to my list of failings......

It's just condensation dripping off the evaporator behind the glovebox or where ever. It drains out onto the ground, many cars let this out periodically rather than continually.
