1999 2.5 TDI Quattro blue smoke on acceleration - bromine
I've just bought a 1999 A4 2.5 TDI a week ago. It drove fine on test drive, however, I noticed there is blue smoke coming out of exhaust when driven hard at low speeds. The smoke definitely smells like oil not diesel. It only comes out when it's warm and no smoke when rev at stationary. It recently had a turbo change so I suspect it was the oil left in the exhaust and my mechanic checked the exhaust said there is a bit of deposition in the exhaust. However I've driven at least 100 miles now it is still smoking. There is no misfire or loss of power. The oil level seems to be ok as well. What is it likely to be?

Any help would be appreciated.
