Hi all
please be gentle, not much of a poster :-)
Whilst driving home the other night the auxillary belt tensioner sheered off, causing the belt to come off the pulleys and hence no power steering. Theres never been a problem with the power steering before and no strange noises so would i have to change the whole unit or just the tensioner bit that fell off ? It looks like a complete unit though. And to get to it one of the pulleys is in the way of a bolt (typical). So would i have to take the pump off to get the tensoiner bit off.
Is the pump easy to replace ? Is there a knack to getting the tensioner bit off?
And any pictures about of how the belt goes around the pulley system?
any help and tips greatly appreciated. (apart from "get a haynes manual" - got one and still cant work it out :-) )
Thanks in advance

You may "not be much of a poster", but at least you got the basic information into the subject which seems to challenge even the old hands here. Welcome !
