Hi eveyone, I've just bought a 2001 mondeo 2.0 TDDI LX privately and last night it literally died on the A1! The diesel gauge still showed plenty but the car just lost power, stopped and won't start again. I put more diesel in just incase and checked its still coming through the injectors, but still nothing, anyone have any ideas whats wrong???

Try looking at the inside of the turbo air intake hose. Sometimes the inner lining delaminates and blocks the air in to the engine. It will look OK from the outside. It is not until you look inside the pipe that you notice anything wrong.
