for this problem you will find countless mentions of airbag lights being caused by poor wiring under the driver's seat.
You don't re-set it; [that's one of those morons' buzz-words] you fix the fault - then it goes out on it's own.
Clean the yellow-sheathed two-pin pre-tensioner plugs under the front seats with electrical contact cleaner - after disconnecting the battery. That sorts about 85% of them.
