2000 316se - abs and traction light - hitcho

can antbody help every so often my abs light and traction light come on together some times they can stay on all day other times it will come on for 5 mins any ideas would be appriciated 2000 316se (1.9) thanks

Having the fault-codes read will determine the reason; but have you had any new tyres fitted recently?

thanks for the reply i have had no new tyres somebody told me it might be the abs sensor but they where not sure

The ABS/TC has many sensors; only a code-read will tell you which - if any - is playing up.

Have you checked the brake-fluid level?

i will check levels tomorrow and milage is 100k with some history thanks
