All tyres are approaching the legal limit.

Its currently fitted with Firestone Firehawks 195/60/15 H

These are great in the dry but pretty awful for grip in the wet.

Can you recommend tyres which are good allround.

Almost anything will be better than the Firehawks - I was instrumental in getting our company lease supplier banned from fitting them. They are very quiet though, and tend to last for ages!

I generally fit Michelins - Primacy HP, if available in that size, would be good all round, avoid Michelin Energy tyres as their wet grip isn't good. If you have access to Costco then they're pretty reasonable.

However there are bunch of lesser known makes that various backroomers swear by.

Some of the online tyre people E.G. Black Circles or MYTYRES etc. give quite useful "character references" for the products they sell. Have a Google.
