52 plate 2.2dti Battery replacement - meredithnurseries
Hi,

I have just bought a new battary for my vectra, can i just replace the battary without any of the cpu's on board being scewed or any problems.

Or do i need to get vauxall to do it for me.

Should be a straight forward changeover.

However, to stop the alarm from sounding (it has a battery backup), switch the ignition on then off, then disconnect the vehicle?s battery within 15 seconds. Best to slacken the battery terminals first so you're not fighting time against spanners.

You'll need to reset the one touch windows as well. Close doors. Switch on ignition. Close window and press on button for at least 3 seconds. Repeat for each window.

Most places now should connect to a spare battery while changing yours so you dont lose any settings
