Problems Using Pop Up Blockers - Glaikit Wee Scunner {P}
I'm currently blocking all pop ups on IE7 because of the current adverts on this site.
But every time a pop up is blocked the page jumps up and down.
Makes it difficult to type in dialogue boxes as well.
Ideas?

Moved in to Computers
On reflection, decided to move this back and lock it in accordance with site policy - read the small print.

Configure your IE and firewall settings correctly for any particular site, and you should not see any problems from that site.

As a frequent complainer about pop-ups, I have Yahoo toolbar on my IE6 browser, and always have the pop-up blocker on.
I don't see these symptoms, and by the by, when I disable it, I find no pop-ups currently on the site.

Generally stops everything.

Using IE6 with pop-up blocker does make the page shift down on loading but no other problems experienced. If the pop-up blocker didn't work I wouldn't come here as the ads are just too intrusive.

Can't remember the exact terms in IE7 but basically look at the Privacy Report.
Find the URL of the pop-up and block it in the browser.
I block utarget, google-analytics and doubleclick at the router.
