Does anyone have the tightening sequence and torque value for the head bolts on this engine please? Thank you.

For some odd reason; Autodata have omitted this crucial info from their latest CD...
I'd doubt that the average garage in that era actually owned a torque wrench - let alone knew what a Newton/metre was. They won't need to be that tight on a flat-head.
You'll not go far wrong doing the bolts up in three progressive stages, [snug, nipped and pulled-down] starting with the middle two and spiralling outwards.
Don't use too long a bar; clean and re-tap the threads in the block [and run a die down the studs?] and just do them up until they feel "right."
The important thing is to crack them and re-torque after a few hundred miles - or ten drive cycles.

The size and thread pitch may idenify the Torque setting. Older manuals had a look up table. Regards Peter
