Checking a registration number - Quinny
Friend of mine has just bought a Berlingo Van via a dealer in Wales,but the registration is different to what he was quoted,which considering what he paid,could be a bonus.

Where can I check what the vehicle is,with regard to the registration given?

you can get the basics here www.nationwideautocenters.co.uk/bookonline/

just go halfway through booking a test, and its asks fo you numberplate ands tells you the vehicle make, model, CC and year.
Just close your internet browser without booking the test.

If you have an ebay account then start the process for selling a car (choose the make etc). At this point you enter the reg. number and it will tell you the make, model, colour, date of first reg. and so on. Quite useful.
