swapping 306 for 3 series wiper arm? - scfc_151
im in need of a new wiper arm on a 2001 306 and a mate is breaking a 1999 3 series bmw. I was wondering if the wiper size was the same if the splines would fit my car?

Id simply try it but hes about 80 miles away at the mo.

No is the short answer

The spindles will almost certainly be the same size, but the arms on the 3 series are a particular shape to place the wiper itself on the screen from the spindles that are quite a way under the bonnet.

Even the 306 drivers and passengers wiper arms are different, so only a 306 arm will fit on a 306....sorry.
