Just seriously scraped an alloy on a high kerb/low drain gulley, car trap in Manchester. Really cheesed off. Are there any products available that will help restore the finish? Rims are fine just the body scratched. Concrete.

Found this link ages ago - never got round to using the advice - sold the car before I could be bothered to repair the wheel.

I think that the reality is it is like scratching the bodywork.
You can touch it up but it never looks quite right and you need to get the whole panel/wheel sprayed. Even then you're never completely happy.
My mate has just had all 4 sprayed on a new BMW 5 series for £200 whicj seemed cheap to me. Obviously they match and look good as well.
I'm sure that there are plenty of alloy wheel repairers in Madchester.

Good luck.

For small scratches I use hammerite silver paint (of the appropriate shade). Works very well - indistinguishable at 5 metres.
(and cheap!)

Chipsaway can do minor repairs to alloys.
