Spring is here and out come those Reliants and car - Andrew Hamilton
For a few brief weeks we see these unstable plastic lumps. At least the Reliants do not spoil the view when parked. However the caravans either end up in small front gardens or get in huge numbers in Caravan sites storage areas nose to tail. There is a plague of them near the A12 at Colchester. Why is there is no MOT or tax on them yet?

Can we have a rest from the caravan bashing saga, Tax them, test them and i will still use one. The accidents are usually a result of lack of experience , poor rig matching. Why not ban lorries and bikes / cycles then only cars can fill the traffic jams?

The tax is a 30 to 50% increase in fuel consumption.That's if you drive at reasonable speeds.
