hi, i aquired a daewoo lanos 1.4 se at the weekend and was wondering if a cambelt renewal would be advisable, ist just hit 60k is it a job for an amatuer? also i cant seem to find any repair /service manuals ie haynes for this model does anyone do one ..thanks

IIRC, it is basically a Vauxhall engine, and if so, then what HJ advises is correct.
If it's an 8 valve engine, then it's *reasonably* easy to change, but if it's a 16v, you'll need a cam locking kit.
Also consider changing the waterpump at the same time, as it's driven by the cambelt.
