Hi. Just bought a R reg escort. The radio is not working as the code is needed. Is there a way around this or do I have to ask Ford for it?

I'm sure you nearest Ford dealer will be able to help ~ you'll probably need the VIN and proof of ownership.

There is a serial number-not the part number-on the case of the radio-you'll need that instead of the VIN as it may not be the original radio.

Or you could be imaginative with Google. It's amazing what you can find on t'internet.
