Hi, Does anyone know if citroen fit particle filters to their uk spec vehicles, as I've got a xsara HDI 90 (late 2003) and need to know as this determines what sort of oil can be used, the service book states fully synthetic only if a particle filter is fitted!. Cheers!.

Older 90/110 HDi''s don't have particle filters. Earliest cars they were fitted to was the 2.2 HDi C5, some of the newer 1.6 and 2.0 136 engines have them.
Total Quartz 9000 fully synth is the best oil for HDi's, particle filter or not. GSF sell it very reasonable.
