Daewoo matiz chugging? - graham woods
Hi every-one. Well my little daewoo matiz is playing up. on tuesday night on my way home it started losing power, and seemed like that i may have a faulty h.t. lead. I managed to get home and called the r.a.c. When the patrol man came out. it was perfect (typical hey) He said that the disi cap may be damp inside, so i removed it, and it was bone dry. I cleaned ot with a rag and fine emery paper and spayed a light coat of wd 40 on the inside of the cap. This morning for the first couple of miles the same fault appeared, and it has been fine since, Today i got a new dissi cap. rotor arm, and h.t. leads including the one from the coil. The suppier sold me the wrong cap and rotor arm so i have only replaced the h.t. leads at this time, and the one from the coil. If the fault re-appears has any-one any suggestions as to what it may be. The engine management light is fine i e comes on for a couple of secs at start up. then goes out. Thanks for any help/ advice. Cheers, Graham.
