Passat Radio RDS Problem?

Passat Radio RDS Problem? - Glaikit Wee Scunner {P}
The traffic announcements start up on my Gamma radio but have stopped after a fraction of a second over the last two days.
Anyone else had this problem or is it likely to be a local fault with the RDS network (North East Derbyshire / Staffordshire)?

Was OK this evening so guess it was a network glitch.

Funny you should mention that - my MKV Golf also was chopping off the traffic announcements yesterday (Wiltshire/Oxfordshire/Berkshire/London/SCR announcements). I thought it was the radio but the VW Beta in my daughter's Lupo was the same this morning - but it was ok later tonight.
Now from your post it seems to have been a widespread problem, how strange; we'll see how it goes over the next couple of days!

I had the same thing on the Mondeo on Monday morning driving to work along the M3 / M25, picking up traffic reports from BBC Berks, BBC London and BBC SCR.

Seemed better driving home in the evening, and has been OK ever since.

I thought my radio was on its way out.
