hello need some help with my alarm when i lock the car with the key pad it locks but no lights flash if i go to double lock it the osr door unlocks ,then i lock it again and they all lock but still no light flash then the alarm keeps goin of its driving me nuts cheers

Had this on my 99 golf a few years ago. In my case it turned out to be a faulty lock for the boot. The way I found this out was to lock the boot using the key rather than rely on central locking. This stopped it from happening.
