My '97 Megane revs high at idle from time to time. When it happens the throttle is fully closed and it can happen when hot or cold. Any ideas, I'm thinking some kind of sensor.

Agreed, although my old Saab injection had an idle control valve, not sure whether such a beast exists on the Megane. Perhaps a temperature sensor of some sort - this would control the additional fuelling when cold?
