A friend has a 1993 Rangie Classic Vogue SE 3.9 EFI which has the ABS warning light on but it doesn't seem to be faulty. Is there a way to determine what the fault could be without going to a specialist (as there isn't one nearby) and can the light be reset?

Watch it on this model! These have the WABCO system IIRC, and when the light comes on the system may be operating with reduced efficiency. I had this happen to me and had a car trailer on the back - only just managed to pull up and avoid a catastrophic accident. I would take it straight to someone with the proper diagnostic kit (specialist/dealer) - and drive it carefully too!!
