VW Passatt - Central locking & clock? - summerflame
Hi - just got car back from having an air temp valve fitted. Now have a problem that the central locking does not work. Also when I turn off the engine the time keeps reverting back to 00.00. These have only started since I got the car back. Car drives fine other than this. Any ideas. Thanks in advance.

Only idea is the obvious.
Take it back chap and im sure they will sort it for you( free ofcourse).

May sound a bit obvious but there is not a fuse blown which feeds the central locking and clock. I have a 1990 Passat and I seem to remember (but may be wrong) that a permanently live fuse feeds both.
