Hi,both front doors on my 5 door golf stick out ever so slightly i.e. the door is not flush with the rear door and you can clearly see it sticking out. Can it easily be adjusted? and if so how. Thank you.

This is probably due to worn catch plate pins that have a tough plastic covering. This plate has two large Torx screws and when loosened the plate has some movement in and out and up and down. Regards Peter

if you can swap the catch plates with the ones in the back doors you will have two new ones or you can swap left to right on the fronts sometimes which can give the same effect,you will notice that pushing the catch further back may not achieve your objective but twisting slightly usually does,be careful doing this and do it in bits as i have just been doing the same with a 40,000 mile pewgot and i jammed the door in the shut position and had a slight palpatation for 10 minutes while i literally had to kick the door open.
