hi i have bought a remote keyless fob PART NO 08191-00880 for my carina 1996 .anyone know what the sequence is to reprogram the fob , i should say that its off a celica, but are the same toyota pentagon say it cant be done

had this problem myself about 4 years ago when the dog ate one of the fobs,tried all the usual places and experts,even bought a so called programable fob off the internet which would copy my only original.ended up at the toyota main dealer a lot poorer.Same scenario last week with my 99 avensis..... £120 various outfits say they can do it but the price dont get any less!!

There was a thread recently about this...apparently Nissan are relatively easy to reprogramme, but Toyota are not.

No Nissan are not easy to program not on the latest models thats for sure.
