Anyone know exactly where the side air bags are fitted in a 406?
The side air bag warning light has come on and I've been checking the connections under the seat and can see no exterior signs of where the bags are fitted. Are they in the seats or the B pillars?
The connection waggling appears to have done the trick - for now!

Full car details would help to make certain; but they should be in the outer side of the seat backs. There's a small badge sewn into the seat covering.

Thanks for that. Peugeot 406 Exec Estate 99 2Ltr Petrol. There are no tags only stickers on the horizontal side trim along the outside of the seat.

I've had the seat covers off in a 406 coupe and the airbags are in the seat bolster nearest to the door pillar.
