Hello,
My friend has a VW touran, he has no idea how to remove the rear light unit cover to change a bulb. I have'nt personally seen it. I was just wondering, how is it removed? thanks

1/Take the toolbag out of the rear cubby. Inside there will be a little steel hook with a ring on it.
2/Put the hook in the little hole at the bottom of the black shroud on the side of the lamp assembly and pull the shroud off
3/ Two torx screws will be exposed.
4/ Remove the screws and pull the lamp unit towards the centre of the car
Polava? you bet.
Wait - it gets worse. I have a bulb out on mine. One of the stude that takes the screw is now turing around in the body so the screw wont come out. Result is the car is booked in to change a light bulb!
So - when the screws back remember to lubricate them......

thanks for that, is there a torx screwdriver in the tool kit????

The torx screws have a slot in them for a flat blade screwdriver, and there is a flat blade screwdriver in the kit, but I would REALLY recomend a torx driver is used to take the screws out.
