Don't stress about it. I guess it is the potential poster at (---.cache.pol.co.uk)
who is making sure there is no genuine link back to him/her before putting up a devil of a post later.
Did it myself when new on the forum to confirm how folks got away with false IDs. This was my first regular forum and I had assumed the site would somehow know if your declered e-mail address was genuine.
Steep learning curve since then.
