I've got some play in the steering column u/j of my '99 Espace.
Does anyone know how difficult is it to get the column out and whether the u/j can be replaced?
Not sure about Espace, but trouble with the UJ's was a problem on the big Renault vans. You have/had to buy a new column assembly and it was very dear IIRC - over £300 I seem to remember. Fortunately I only fitted it and didn't pay for the part. It was awkward to fit though.
