Going to bite the bullet and have the timing belt, aux drive belt and CV joint/top strut bearing/whatever is making that awful grinding noise when I corner, looked at.
Can anyone recommend a good garage/mechanic in Surrey (Preferably near Addlestone/Chertsey (J11 of M25) or in Guildford)

There is a very good garage on the chertsey road as you enter Chobham(near woking).I cant remember the name but my father uses them regularly.They specialise in volvo's but they cover all makes.They also do MOT's.

Is that as if you were heading towards Chobham town centre (Such as it is!)

I did try, but all I saw in Directories was:

As you travel towards Chobham from the Ottershaw roundabout,past Fairoaks airport.As you enter Chobham you will find Delta road on your right,the Garage is on the left at the beginning of the parade of shops.

My father has used this garage for the last four years.They have serviced his volvo fo the last four years including replacing the cv joints.They have also just serviced his passat estate,including cam belt change and fixing his air-con(required new compressor).He is very pleased with the work,cost(much,much cheaper than vw and volvo dealerships)and also the convenience(he lives just down the road)
